His caucus responsibilities include positions as Associate Spokesman for Energy (Mining) and Associate Spokesman for Tourism. He sits on the Justice and Electoral Select Committee.

National MPs support Coastguard volunteers
National MPs Chris Auchinvole and Tim Groser were invited to be part of the NZ Coastguard promotion programme “MPs on Boats” and stepped aboard the lifeboat on Lake Brunner last Saturday.
“The Coastguard is a very important part of the recreational infrastructure on Lake Brunner,” said Chris.
Tim Groser MP, National’s International Trade Spokesman was on the Coast as guest speaker at a fundraiser meeting at the Bridge restaurant on the Taramakau on Sunday.
“The tickets sold out in 3 days and we had a capacity audience,” said Elizabeth Cummings, West Coast Chair of the National Party. “It was a very successful occasion.”
